Stupid Girls, Lonely President...

No, I am not referring to the previous president, but that will have to come later. I'm referring to Pink's latest album that has these two songs, and they rubbed me raw both ways: sad and comic.

Stupid Girls is rather shocking to watch the first time around, especially with the scene in the bathroom with the toothbrush. But when I got through it, it became evident to me that this was a very funny, albeit scathing, poke-of-the-elbow at most female artiste today. But what really tickled me was her depiction of a desperate woman trying to get back her BF's attention by blowing up her bra - 'push up my bra like - that!' - that was precious. As was with the rest of the video.

Dear Mr President may not be a chart-climbing song, but it's pregnant with messages. Was the president a lonely boy, I wonder now. It could be the reason why he surrounds himself with so many troubles now, just to make him self busy. But then, he'd 'never take a walk with me', 'cos he 'don't know nothing about hard work'. Oh well.

Some random words...

You've got the star in your hands, darling
You've got the star in your hands
But squeeze it not so hard, darling
Coz you might not see them again.

The star is in your hands, darling
Open your palms up and lift
Let it

Life as a Trainee

It's rather fun here. There are a lot of great guys here and all of us are enjoying it. Kind of.

Right now, next to me is Shah, who looks quite tired and is now ready to sleep. Then there's Hasyimah who is surfing the net and talking simultaneously. Further down the table is a group of three sisters (not sisters in real life, but they became just as close when they first met) and the final three, Adrian, Dorothy and Flora, who may (or may not be) talking about politics. Or lovelife. I don't know.

Maybe this is some kind of induction: we are to experience the life of CSR for a few weeks before they really let us down to the field. Just wish us luck, and I'll wish you yours. Good day!
