... is usually described as the absence of reason. If seen from one point of view, that is correct. A sane person won't just sit and crap anywhere. However take this pill instead: madness is a condition where the mind is flooded, inundated by reason to the point of bursting that it finally is unhinged. And that person who craps anywhere might not be so mad after all.
